Most homes have a cookbook or two. My cookbooks take up ten-inches of shelf space. I’ve learned to limit collecting and enjoy what I have but it’s delicious reading a cookbook, copying potential recipes and then passing the book on. Take Ground Cherry Pie from the 1992 Heartland Cookbook. I saw these papery orbs at the Aitkin Farmers Market and presented that book to the grower who makes new recipes when she’s not out gathering produce.
